As someone who has been in Spiritual Direction for over 25 years, I attest to its value. Spiritual Direction has been a life and soul-saving discipline for me. The mountains and valleys of my spiritual journey have been much more easily traversed and understood when I have a trusted companion shining a light on my path.
My philosophy:
As a Spiritual Director, I deeply believe in the power of silence and prayer, whatever form is practiced. In every Spiritual Direction session, I believe there are three active presences: The Directee, the Director and the Holy One — that Spirit of Truth being the actual Director (or Divinity in any name).
After a complimentary Intake Session, I suggest monthly Spiritual Direction sessions, location and modality to be mutually decided. My fees are on a sliding scale, ranging from $50-80 per session (in accordance with the guidelines of Spiritual Directors International).
